Managing Director, Hospitality Security Group: 2010-

I have provided Security consulting services to a wide range of companies

in the Hospitality industry, Healthcare, Government agencies and retail

organization. The consulting services have included, the creation of

policy and procedures, training of Security staff, risk and threat

assessments, physical security system implementation, executive protection

and investigative services.

Director of Security, Hyatt Resorts Florida: 2006-2010

As the Director of Safety and Security for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts I am

responsible for ensuring a safe and secure facility for guests and staff by

creating and enforcing security policies and procedures. I have effectively

managed the Department budget while creating a Security team that provides

the best in world class customer service.

I complete risk and threat assessments and determine best practices for

Hyatt properties in south Florida.

In my role as the head of the Safety function, I implement risk mitigation

policies and evaluate the effectiveness of operational controls based on

limiting exposure. As chairman of the safety committee, and emergency

planning committee I have created the company emergency response plan.

Additionally I manage the hiring, training and supervision of the security

guard force at my home property and train the Directors of Security at

other Hyatt properties in Florida.

I have investigated crimes and safety violations occurring on the resort

grounds of Hyatt properties in Florida and am charged with maintaining

compliance with local, state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPPA, NFPA)

and serving as liaison with Law Enforcement. I have been project manager on

the creation and installation of Hyatt properties CCTV and alarm systems at

several locations. I coordinate Executive protection for company personnel

and traveling VIP's.

Public Safety Manager, Naples Community Hospital: 2005-2006

Telford Nursing Education Center

I was in charge of ensuring a safe and secure facility for patients, staff

and students by creating and enforcing security policies and procedures. I

completed risk and threat assessments, and determined best practices for

the Hospital, implemented risk mitigation policies and evaluated the

effectiveness of operational controls based on limiting exposure.

I hired, trained and supervised the security guard force, investigated

crimes and safety violations occurring on the hospital grounds and served

as liaison with Law Enforcement. I contributed to environment of care

committees, emergency planning committee and ensured compliance with State

and Federal safety regulations, HIPPA, Life Safety Codes, (NFPA) and JCAHO.

I managed the departments' yearly budgets and worked with and supervised

the work of outside contractors and vendors. I have participated in

Emergency Planning drills with local State and Federal agencies, including

mass casualty and terrorist attack exercises. I Managed the Emergency

Operations Center for the campus during a Hurricane strike.

Investigator, Special Operations Group, Aurora, IL Police Department: 1996-

2004

As a Detective/Investigator charged with gathering intelligence related to

organized street gangs through the use of a variety of surveillance

techniques, informants and undercover operations. I investigated violent

crimes, narcotic trafficking, and vice crimes and served as a tactical unit

on high-risk search and arrest warrants assisting state and federal

agencies with investigations and tactical needs.

Police Officer, Aurora, IL Police Department: 1996-2003

As a Police Officer I conducted general patrol activities, initial

criminal investigations, suspect apprehension, conflict resolution,

enforcement of criminal law and ordinances and providing for public safety.
