protection devices.

HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR (1996 - 12/2009) PLANTS CLOSED

Responsible for Human Resource and Safety functions for over 2000 employees

at four manufacturing locations both union and non-union. Five (5) direct

reports

. Served as a member of the Senior Staff involved with the development of

world class manufacturing plants.

. Managed smooth outsourcing of HR transactional services to a third party

supplier by establishing kiosks' in the plant and break rooms as well as

1-800 access lines.

. Successfully implemented Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma in all

manufacturing plants.

. Negotiated most recent 5 year labor agreement that put 7.3% of labor pay

at risk if 11% productivity increase was not achieved, (productivity

gains exceeded 11%)

. Managed planning and execution of special assignments for moving plants,

executive retention, plant and equipment security, authorizing signature

for plant moves and multi level communication plans.

. Participated as a member of the leadership team moving all Bellefontaine

operations to Mexico and elsewhere.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Bellefontaine, OH(1989 - 1996)

Responsible for human resource functions for over 1000 employees at two

locations. Directly responsible for plants becoming world class facilities

and market leaders.

. Successfully implemented continuous improvement process and self-directed

work teams in union and non-union facilities.

. Significantly increased employee involvement and reduced grievances

substantially while not infringing on the supervisors ability to lead.

MANAGER, Employee and Community Relations Pittsburgh, PA(1986 - 1989)

Part of a three person team that organized and built this division from

fragments of other Siemens business units. Products were motors and drive

systems Managed entire employee relations function of 600 employees at ten

locations in both union and nonunion activities.

Restructured and standardized the benefits programs which resulted in

lower benefit costs and simplified benefits administration.

Provided and helped implement some of the strategic operating standards

between units which resulted in increased profit and improved customer

service.

White-Westinghouse Corporation, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1979 to 1986
