To Resume Processing Center:
I am sending a resume to be viewed for an opportunity to work for Coca-Cola
as a source for financial support towards my college degree in Information
Technology. As stated in my resume, I am looking for experience in the
Information Technology department of this organization in order to become
more proficient in my daily duties as a technician and become a step closer
in my career goals as an Administrator in the Computer Science field. I am
willing to work an entry level position and attempt to convert to an
Information Technician position.
There are leadership skills in my background and also consistent work
experience, and self-motivation. I am pointing this out to show my
capabilities in the future. Currently, I am in school at the University of
South Alabama. My major is Information Technology with a minor in Business.
I want a business on the side of a career that I can profess.
While being in school, I work at The Mitchell Center on Campus. This is a
Facility that hosts the basketball games and entertainment events in the
area. In my spare time, I work as an electronics technician. This job is
very technical and uses cameras, soundboards, computers, and other
expensive electronic equipment.
Prior to attending college, I worked at Walgreens Pharmacy as a photo
technician, promoted to a photo supervisor, and lastly promoted to an
assistant manager. As a technician I worked with 35mm film on a Fuji
machine to process photos. As a supervisor, I managed three other people,
ordered supplies, and doubled sales in my department. As an assistant store
manager, I ordered store inventory, created schedules, worked in the
pharmacy, created cash reports, managed 16 to 20 people, as well as handled
other duties. The most important experience in this job was learning how to
become more flexible for customers, coworkers, and Walgreens.
Before Walgreens, I worked in Huntsville, Alabama for Fox/Universal at
CINRAM Manufacturing. This job was also technical because I was a screen
printer. The DVD images that cover the top of the disk is what I printed.
The machines that I used were German made and maintained by the workers and
service technicians. The work done on these machines, that needed
certification, was done by the service technician. This job involved the
uses of paints and hazardous chemicals to process the daily work flow.
Precision was the key to this job as well as efficiency.
Lastly, I worked at The University of Auburn as a computer lab supervisor.
This position enabled me to work with schedules, routers/switches,
professors, and mainly computers. I was on call for technical computer
assistance, as well as fixing the problems within the network and computer
functions.
In conclusion, I have technical work experience as well as leadership
experience. I feel as though I am confident and qualified to work technical
positions. This opportunity means a lot to me and starting to actually work
in my field would be exceptional.
Very Truly,
Gregory Kyser
