Personal Information:
o I am a highly motivated goal oriented manager and I have
consistently proven myself to be a valuable member of the
management team by implementing safe work practices, improving
employee morale, reducing recordable injuries and providing
savings to the company.
o I have experience in installing a company medical facility and I
am well versed in worker's compensation case management. My
background as a paramedic allows me to speak the same language
as medical providers thus being very successful in returning
injured employees to light duty assignments and reducing lost
time days. I also hold a certification as an ergonomics
evaluation specialist.
o I speak a moderate level of Spanish and had the opportunity to
participate in a medical mission trip to the jungles of Peru in
2000. I also speak a small amount of Russian.
o I am the father of two wonderful daughters, both of whom will
graduate from Mississippi College next year with their degree in
Elementary education and psychology respectively.
o I have participated in SWAT medic tactical training and have
worked with the Lowndes county Sherriff's department as an
auxiliary deputy. I have also participated in dive rescue /
recovery training and hope to complete my training this summer.
o Currently I am working toward my RN degree and hope to
ultimately become a nurse practitioner in an industrial setting.
o I am an experienced teacher and instructor with the capability
of providing a variety of safety, advanced medical and first aid
training topics in an enjoyable and easy to comprehend format.
o I play 4 different instruments and write and as time permits I
enjoy fishing and carving wooden caricatures.
