Resume:

Gary S. Carothers

**** *. ******* ***, ******* IL, 60649

abl5hy@r.postjobfree.com

I have been in this field since 1973 during which time I have held many

different positions, from Console Operator, Shift Supervisor. In 1985 I

went into the Consulting side of the business which for me was my period of

greatest learning, as well as the most interesting and fun, while steadily

increasing my skill set. During that time I was able to work with a large

variety of people with a vast knowledge of many different disciplines.

However like many others in the Mainframe world I got caught in its

collapse. During the succeeding years, I have made an effort to maintain

many of my skills as well as acquiring new ones. What I seek now is the

opportunity to get back into my field of expertise, the one that has

occupied the better part of my adult working career.

On my own I have taken and completed two courses from IBM in my pursuit of

becoming fluent in SQL as well as obtaining certification in SQL. I have

completed the requirements for BAS (Bachelor of Applied Science) in

Information Technology.
