WORK EXPERIENCE
Andrews International (Contractor) 8/2001 - Present
ExxonMobil Project Supervisor
New Orleans, Louisiana US
Salary: 92,500.00 USD Annual
Hours per week: 48
In August 0f 2001, I was introduced to Andrews International working part
time as a contractor conducting contraband searches both as an investigator
and a K9 handler. In August of 2005 I was contracted to organize and manage
a team temporally assigned to the ExxonMobil Project in Chalmette La. This
Project was due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. My
responsibilities were Personnel Management, Asset Protection and all
Protective Service Details of Executives coming to and from the area. I was
also responsible for the Contingency and Operational Planning. All services
were provided with such professionalism, safety and good work ethics; I was
asked to continue my assignment. I remain responsible for these duties and
continue to supervise a team responsible for the perimeter patrols,
contraband checks, investigations and Personal Protection whenever needed.
In 2010 I operated in Haiti during the massive earthquake recovery efforts
as the team leader conducting escorts for Diplomats to and from the
Dominican Republic. My team also provided protection for critical
infrastructure and personnel responding to the recovery efforts.
In August 2005 I was working as a sub-contractor for Andrews International
and formed T.A.P.S. International to assist with expenses. Since forming
T.A.P.S., I work as a sub-contractor and have supervised a team providing
Personal Protection for several VIP's including the CEO of BP, CEO of
ExxonMobil, New Orleans Saints Head Football Coach, Marathon Oil
Executives, the Owner of Copeland's Restaurant, Al Copeland, along with
many other popular people. I have operated as the team leader during the
devastation events such as Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Gustav in New
Orleans La. I also was the team leader conducting escorts for critical
infrastructure personnel through the destruction caused by Hurricanes
Gustav and Ike in Texas.
I am P.O.S.T. Certified through the Louisiana Peace Officers Standards and
Training Council and have been since November of 1991. I joined the St
Martin Sheriff's Office to assist with special assignments supporting the
Patrol services Bureau. I Qualify every six months with my Glock .40, Glock
.45, Rem. LTR .308 and M4 .223
I Joined the Lafayette Police Department in March 1995 until I pursued my
career in the private industry as a contractor with Andrews International.
Within one year of my employment with the Lafayette Police Department, I
earned the title of, Shift Training Officer.
In 1997 I was assigned to the Field Training Unit. I became a Certified
Instructor Trainer in multiple areas of law enforcement and advanced
security techniques. I rewrote the departments use of force policy which is
used today.
In 1998 I became a member of the SWAT team. I quickly advanced from
perimeter to the position of Point Man. I attended several training courses
such as Basic SWAT and many other tactical related courses.
In 2000 I continued to operate as the Point Man on the SWAT team and became
the K9 handler assigned to the Street Team operating in the high crime
areas. My K9 partner, Marco and I were certified in patrol, cocaine,
methamphetamine and marijuana. We arrested many felony offenders, recovered
numerous stolen vehicles, and excelled in the recovery of marijuana,
Cocaine and methamphetamine.
I was involved in two officer involved shootings as the point man on the
Special Weapons and Tactical Team during high risk entries. In both
instances the team was fired upon and I returned fire neutralizing the
threats. I was cleared in both investigations by the Louisiana State
Police.
I joined the Church Point Police Department in 1991 and assigned to the
patrol division.
In 1992 I was assigned to the investigative bureau.
