04/2008 to Present American General Contractors Oletha, KS

Project Superintendent

Stand alone superintendent on a $4.1 mil. New out of ground Value Place Hotel, overseeing the daily progress

and coordination for all sub-contractors. Kept daily reports, generate RFI’s, accurately track change orders,

schedules and all other related documentation, utilizing computer programs. Issued submittals to the

appropriate office for their prior approval to construction. Obtained and reviewed bids from contractors to

ensure accuracy in their bid in accordance to drawings and specifications. Worked closely with local building

officials to ensure code compliance. Responsible for the project safety and msds programs to ensure OSHA

compliance.

10/2006 to 04/2008 Haley Construction Daytona Beach, Fl

Project Superintendent

Stand alone superintendent on various projects through out the U.S., overseeing the daily progress and

coordination on a new out of ground restaurants and hotels on a fast track schedule. Keep daily reports,

generate RFI’s. and accurately track of changes and all other related documents. Work closely with local and

state agencies. Maintained a safe and clean job site which passed OSHA inspections. Oversee and manage

the daily work of all sub contractors to ensure quality standards were being maintained. Changed jobs due to

lack of work

3/2005 to 11/2006 Genesis Building Systems Belmont, MI

Project Superintendent

Transferred to Michigan to begin a 70,000sf, 10 floor renovation/restoration for the State of

Michigan Health Dept. Conducted exploratory demolition for construction document purposes.

Attended pre-construction & planning meetings for schedule, requirements and budgeting.

Oversaw the bidding process once construction documents were prepared and assisted in the

design build phase. Interviewed and hired a replacement superintendent once construction began

so I could assume the superintendent responsibilities of a 45,000sf, new construction Eye

Surgical Center in Norfolk, VA. This project was approx. 45% complete and approx. 5 months

behind schedule. Analyzed and identified the problem areas which caused the delays and

implemented corrective actions as well as planned and scheduled for a completion. Worked

closely with the owners, developers, architects and sub-contractors in all aspects of correcting

problem areas and scheduling. Oversaw the daily progress of all sub-contractors with special

emphasis on the trades which were significantly behind schedule and kept accurate records of

their manpower, progress and on site look ahead scheduling. Generated all appropriate

paperwork associated such as RFI’s, daily reports, change orders, addendums and bulletins.

Updated all related contract documents to accurately reflect the actual construction. Generated

and oversaw the completion of the punch list. Worked closely with State and local health and

building agencies which were responsible for the licensure of the facility. Left due to lack of work

Sole company representative in an out of state health care campus project located in Claremore,

OK. Project was a series of 2 separate buildings being built simultaneously. The first being an

Ambulatory Surgical Center, the second an Office and Diagnostic Center. Responsible for

activities on the including permitting, scheduling, daily work progress. Working with out of state

architects, engineers and project managers. Worked closely with the owners on their concerns.

Generated all related paperwork including RFI’s, daily reports, and schedules. Closely monitored

all trades work progress and quality. All buildings were ground-up tilt wall turnkey projects on a

fast-track schedule. Worked closely with state officials on all building related health issues.

10/2002 to 2/2004 Bluefin Construction Laguna Hills, CA

Project Superintendent

Sole company representative in out of state projects for Athletic Club renovations and TI’s in

excess of $1.5 million. Conducted all pre-construction phases needed to complete the

architectural and engineering phase. Conducted bidding, awarding and writing of sub-

contractor’s contracts. Submitted drawings and appropriate documentation to local

municipalities for permitting. Oversaw the daily construction schedules, budgets, RFI’s,

owner/architect change orders and other related documentation. Responsible

for all layout and field decisions which impacted the schedule and budgets. All projects were

fast-track projects which were all completed ahead of schedule. Ensured that all company and

OSHA safety regulations were adhered to. Left to lack of work

Assistant Superintendent

Responsible for all layouts of footings, foundations, walls from given control points. Oversaw

and coordinated the daily work progress of all sub-contractors to ensure within schedule time

limits. Coordinated and schedules the daily work for carpenters, laborers, concrete finishers who

were with Nunn Construction. Responsible for the 0n-site safety program. Responsible for

resolving field conflicts. Left for family reasons and relocation to Oklahoma

On-site supervisor of a $1.2 million renovation of a 40,000sf, bank building. Responsible for the

layout for all MEP sub-contractors, demolition and reconfiguration of the building. Responsible for

dictating the scheduling, coordination between architect, owners and sub-contractors. Worked with

local and state building officials in ensuring that all aspects were within building codes.

8/1998 – 1/1999 R. C. Stevens construction Orlando, FL

Project Superintendent

On-Site ground-up Superintendent on commercial projects, responsible for the pre-construction

coordination of sub-contractors, site set-up, layout of the project. Responsible for the scheduling of

the work, ensuring quality control, and cost effectiveness of the projects. Responsible for the on-

site safety program to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards were met.

Coordinated with the owners and architects on any field problems, RFI’s addendums, or concerns

they may have. All projects were turn-key projects. Left due to relocate to Colorado for family

reasons.

4/1997 – 8/1999 Brasfield & Gorrie LLC Orlando, FL

Assistant Superintendent

Assistant on-site Superintendent on a $23mil tower addition and renovation to Florida Hospital.

Ensured that all RFI’s, addendums, and change orders were met in the field. Responsible for all

layouts from ground-up to the interior renovation layout. Oversaw a crew of 30 carpenters, laborers,

concrete finishers, ensuring their quality of work and timely completion. Solely responsible for all

concrete forming, placements from structural to slabs and drives. Responsible for the on-site safety

programs. Interacted with the owners and hospital representatives to ensure that the construction

phases did not interfere with the operation of the hospital. Left due to relocating to Colorado for

family reasons

concrete, structural and slab. Daily coordination of all work by contractor and sub-contractors were
