Project Manager

Tower Improvement Program (TIP)

Complete multiple repairs on turbines requiring the use of heavy lift cranes (400t+). Prepare documentation to

submit for customer review. Create new procedures for field repairs. Responsible for submitting bid requests,

reviewing multiple proposals and awarding contracts for services. Active in contract negotiations for multiple

vendors. Create the initial schedule and budget for each repair and submit to senior management for approval.

Assist in creation of master service agreements for use with preferred vendors. Manage day to day operations.

Conduct safety reviews and training for all site personnel.

Site Manager

Blade Retrofit Project

Managed day to day operations of fleet wide blade remediation project. Oversaw crews of up to 150 people.

Created and managed schedules and budgets in excess of 75MM for remediation of 120+ turbines over three sites.

Updated procedures and completed training with personnel in order to ensure ISO:9001 compliance. Collaborated

with engineering and quality assurance to implement new procedures and improve existing. Worked with

engineering group in development of new prototypes to complete retrofits safer and faster. Teamed with corporate

safety director in order to ensure OSHA compliance in the field and contribute to Clipper’s Recordable Injury Rate

of less than 1.25.

Site Manager

Fowler Ridge Wind Farm; Fowler, IN

Responsible for mobilization and all activities to erect forty 2.5 megawatt Liberty wind turbines. Created and

managed schedules and budgets in excess of 100MM. Oversight of component delivery, assembly and

commissioning. Acted as customer liaison in order to ensure satisfaction with product. Generated technical

reports to Clipper management for progress, delay, and budget. Updated and maintained work procedures in order

to maintain ISO:9001 certification. Worked with corporate safety director in order to ensure OSHA compliance

in the field and contribute to Clippers Recordable Injury Rate of less than 1.25.

GES-USA – EPC contractor specializing in wind turbine applications 4/2007 to 7/2008

Site Superintendant

Allegheny Ridge Wind Farm; Portage, PA

Assisted with all activities to erect thirty four 2 megawatt Gamesa G87 wind turbines. Supervised component

delivery, erection crews and mechanical completion crews in preparation for commissioning. Also responsible for

all reporting to the site manager as well as site relations with the customer’s staff. Generated technical reports to

upper management for progress, delay, and budget. Created and maintained site schedules.

Site Superintendant / Safety Manager

Crescent Ridge Wind Farm; Tiskilwa, IL & Top of Iowa II Wind Farm; Kensett, IA

Assisted with all activities to erect 2MW Gamesa G87 wind turbines on wind farms in IL and PA. Supervised

crews, reported to the site manager and coordinated with customer to ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Generated technical reports to upper management for progress, delay, and budget. Coordinated supply chain in

order to minimize downtime. Conducted new hire orientations, weekly safety meetings and audits. Managed

vendor relations to ensure quality, pricing and timely deliveries.

Safety Manager

Mesquite Wind Farm; Abilene, TX

Conducted new hire orientations and safety training including OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour training, fire-watch

training and forklift safety training. Conducted weekly OSHA-type safety audits in order to maintain compliance

of all state and federal regulations with regards to safety. Managed weekly safety meetings with the site manager

for all employees on-site. Coordinated emergency response planning with local fire and police departments.

FDR Safety – Provider of safety consultants located in Knoxville, TN 8/2006 TO

Contracted to AK Steel Middletown Works to monitor employees for safe work practices and correct any unsafe

acts. Performed safety audits and reported all findings and corrective actions to management. Conducted work

area audits for any OSHA non-compliance issues. Escorted employees for drug and alcohol testing. Assisted

general foremen with terminations and other administrative duties. Completed reports and shift turnovers.
