• Managed the supply chain activities for seven manufacturing facilities supporting sales of $750
million per year for 3 divisions serving the OGP, Wind, Solar, and Industrial markets in a high sku
count (10,000+) environment.
• Oversaw the purchasing activities for sourced finished goods from overseas.
• Lead monthly SIOP process with Business Team VP and Manufacturing VP to drive the
appropriate balance between supply and demand.
• Reduced firm time fences of product classes from 20 to 40% through leaning out of processes
both manufacturing and administrative.
• Drove the establishment of value streams within our facilities.
• Improved service by 10 points while at the same time driving inventory down 10% by process
improvements and the development of new tools within our DC network.
• Managed SMO (slow moving and obsolete) inventory to less than 3% of the total inventory
investment.

• Worked under the VP of Manufacturing to develop NA manufacturing strategy that resulted in $28
million in savings. Results where a shifting of production and closure of 5 manufacturing facilities
and the construction of a new low cost facility in Nogales, Mexico.
• Performed make versus buy analysis that resulted in the private labeling of certain high volume
products.
• Worked in drafting a NA logistics strategy to consolidate 15 warehouse/distributions centers into 3
larger NA centers to serve markets and minimize freight impact of the change in our NA
manufacturing footprint.
• Responsible for materials, customs, shipping/receiving and purchasing functions of startup plant
in Nogales, MX.
• Developed local supply base to help reduce inventory and lead times.
Owens Corning 2005 – 2005

• Managed the planning, purchasing, and warehouse activities for $16 million dollar facility serving
automotive and appliance markets.
• Reduced inventory by 30% within the first three months.
• Established physical inventory and cycle count process/procedure for the facility.
• Used process mapping to define layout of warehouse to maximize material flow through the
facility. Improved layout reduced trailer load and unload time by up to 42%.
• Reduced scrap rates from 6% to 2.5% due to improved management of production scheduling in
a batch processing environment.
• Responsible for production operations. Handled manpower planning and day to day
responsibilities of operations. Increased machine uptime by 40% and moved operating efficiency

• Championed six sigma greenbelt projects to manage inventory stores using statistical analysis.
