Process Safety Engineer, Ingenious Inc

. Successfully participatated in PHA on 10 units for a synthetic co-

polymer plant.

. Primarily responsible for process safety information (PSI) and system

relief analysis for the PHA.

. Initiated field walk downs to get equipment data and verify it with

maintenance engineers. Use it for process safety valve sizing taking

into consideration all possible over pressure scenarios (API

guidelines) and reviewing PSV calculations. Ensuring that P& ID, SAP

system and maintenance folders are up to date with equipment

information. P&ID walk downs, review and updates.

Participate in the plant mechanical integrity program and develop MOC

(management of change) procedures.

. Generate recommendations at the end of PHA to be reviewed by

management and action items created.

. Helped improve the Process Safety Management (PSM) program as per OSHA

. Reliance Standard Model Project: Developed and tested 28 process

simulation models for operator training.

. Involved in research and product development activities. Working

knowledge of Petro-sim (Hysys), Uni-sim operations USO (shadow plant).

Generated heat & mass balance tables, steam tables.

. Developed Software (Operator Training Simulator) related to steady

state and dynamic simulation applications for refineries, petro-

chemical plants, gas plants as well as power plants, Amine treating

unit, Sulphur recovery unit, hydrogen plant, debutanizer.

. Writing the start-up, shut down and emergency shutdown procedures and

preparing manuals for the simulation models.

. Testing all the advanced software solutions offered by the company (QC

check).
