Duties and responsibilities below:

Design steel joists and prepare for fabrication

Provide direction for sales, detailing, and

management to interpret, understand, and apply

specifications

Full scale load testing, component testing, and

failure analysis of joists both in-house and at

Bucknell University

Resolve customer concerns for non-compliances or

deviations and analysis of customer charges for

corrections

Supervision of in-house quality inspectors

Implement quality assurance manual through

educational seminars for in-house inspectors and

production personnel

Root cause analysis of deviations

Analyzing paint samples for adherence to PADEP

specifications

Create defect tracking and quality checking

programs

Resolve fabrication issues with adherence to

specifications and corrections to non-compliance
