Relevant Experience:
As Manager of Contracts Administration, I supervised three project
administrators; managed the preparation of financial reports for an $88
million contract with DOE-SRED and an $8 million contract with DOE-SRSPO.
Duties included delivering Task Plans and Monthly Progress Reports on
schedule while ensuring accuracy of financial data. The planning documents
and the progress reports were large multidisciplinary documents integrating
text and financial data. The Monthly Progress report for DOE-SRED was 400
pages, 75% was financial data. Also, reviewed accruals, an estimate of
cost incurred for the month, to ensure costs did not exceed funding
authorized in the contract.
As Manager of Contracts Administration, interfaced with project managers to
establish budget objectives and determine ways in which their objectives
could be met; also, provided input and guidance to project manager's
guidelines to expedite the process of obtaining subcontractors,
consultants, or equipment in compliance with FAR and DEAR guidelines.
As Program Analyst, I was instrumental in the initiation and implementation
of the computerized Center Reporting System (CRS). The CRS, developed in
Oracle, was a relational database that pulled information from the
corporate mainframe and was used to generate the Monthly Progress Reports
and Task Plans. Implementation of this database decreased the production
time for the Monthly Progress Report by 33% ensuring more efficient and
timely delivery of the product to the client. I was also responsible for
ensuring all information in the CRS was valid.
