State Tested Nurse’s Assistant, January 2008-May 2009, Wilson Memorial Hospital: Worked in and outside the field,

going to nursing homes, and patient’s homes to care for them. Doing their ADL schedules and anything they may need.

Also I worked inside the office management area, creating schedules, and getting to know how the job is done on the

inside with my supervisor’s and also the company’s manager.

SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES

Reading & Typing Skills: I can read 333 words per minute and I can type around 120 words per minute.

Calculation & Learning Skills: Excellent math skills & quick learner; read & follow directions easily.

Hospice/Hospital Volunteer: Working through the hospital I also volunteer doing extra activities in the community.

Such as blood drives, county fairs, and also little things in the hospital to help out. While doing this I won an award for

best customer service.

FURTHER INFORMATION

In the summer of 2007, I took my STNA classes/training through Ohio High Point Career Center. I took my classes in

the Hospital in Urbana, OH and then I did my clinical work at a nearby nursing home. In November 2009 I started at

the University of Phoenix online to receive my Associates degree in Healthcare Pharmacy Practice. I have completed

my freshman courses and will continue in January to start my sophomore courses and then finish my degree. In August

(2009) I started courses to become a Pharmacy Technician. I have completed this training; however my certificate is

not certified.
