2. Conduct frequent and regular scheduled safety

audits/inspections of Contractor/Subcontractor's

construction activities to monitor compliance with

his/her own safety program, OSHA, and the Project Safety

Programs.

3. Have authority to issue a work stoppage directive

where conditions exist which are Immediately Dangerous to

Life or Health (IDLH). Work stoppage will remain in

effect until the unsafe condition sighted has been

corrected.

4. Advise the management of appropriate

Contractor/Subcontractor of unsafe acts/conditions

observed on the project site for prompt corrective action

to eliminate the unsafe act/condition.

5. Assist the Contractor/Subcontractor's safety

representative with conducting safety orientation of all

construction personnel reporting to the project site.

6. Hold Contractor/Subcontractor's weekly safety meetings

and "tool box" safety talks/training, to verify that

personnel signature sheets are properly completed for

later reference.

7. Assist with conducting accident investigations,

analyzing causes, and formulating recommendations for

corrective/preventative actions.

8.Maintain relationship with Contractors/Subcontractors,

insurance representatives, local medical services, local

fire and police departments, OSHA, and other regulatory

agencies and provide liaison with Owner on safety related

matters.

9. Conduct the safety portion of the daily coordination

and safety meeting.

10. Verify that Federal and State required posters are

posted and kept current by each Contractor/Subcontractor.

11. Verify that each Contractor/Subcontractor is

providing adequate and proper record keeping as required

by OSHA and State regulatory agencies and maintaining

documentation of safety training, safety audits and

inspections and occupational safety and health monitoring

activities.

12. Maintain record keeping for the project as required

by OSHA and State regulatory agencies and this Safety

Plan.
