RELEVANT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Project Estimator / Manager:
As Estimator was responsible for acquiring bid documents, obtaining applicable pricing from vendors/subcontractors,
compiling an overall estimate, and submitting the quotation to the appropriate party (ies) as well as coordinated with
the Operational team for smooth hand-off process as the project begins. Review and evaluates requests for Estimates.
Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to be bid. Executes take-offs of construction
documents Inputs take-offs into computer software. Obtains pricing for materials and executed the purchasing.
Prepares cost analysis of material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of
items. Attends on site meetings as required. Gathers and analyzes complex or diverse information skillfully, identifies
and resolves problems in a timely manner and communicates effectively with the project team members. Promotes
quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and
accurate judgment and makes timely decisions. Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and
develops realistic action plans. Informs project team members of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted
items. Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent
changes, delays or unexpected events.
Project Executive:
Review all construction contracts and oversee the Contract Change Process and ensure the Monthly Margin Analysis
is accurate and timely, mitigating potential losses and to enhance profitability. Assign project teams to projects,
matching their skill and experience levels, to drive profitable performance consistent with company objectives and
policies. Ensuring that the project teams comply with all daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements. Review
the CPM Schedule and Monthly Narrative to ensure the project is tracking for on-time completion and that the
documentation is in accordance with corporate policy. Routinely performs constructability reviews of the plans and
specifications for any gaps, overlaps, and omissions for clarity of details. Additionally, involved in all construction
operations on a day-to-day basis. Review the safety training program and the safety procedures for projects and
conduct monthly safety training for the entire business unit.
Visit each project site on a scheduled basis to remain updated on construction activities, managing site personnel to
meet customer satisfaction. Establishing goals, developing policies and programs, and directing the operations and
growth of the company while maintaining its high standard of professionalism and building excellence.
Senior Project Manager:
Accept the projects from the estimating department at budget transfer managing the buyout process in a cost-effective
and timely manner, while meeting minority participation and company requirements. Other responsibilities included
expedite project details, monitored and maintained project budget and change orders. Developed and executed
project schedules, coordinated job review meetings and managed the project team. Managed day-to-day project
responsibilities and quality execution of project details reviewed with the superintendent. Conducted visits to the
proposed project site to establish clear and detailed scope of work for the project. Applied value-engineering tactics
throughout the process to identify and implement cost savings to benefit the project. Solicits and reviews all
subcontractors bids to identify the most qualified and cost effective subcontractors to perform the work.
General Superintendent:
Responsible for organizing, coordinating and supervising the work of the Superintendent, Foreman, Sub Foreman,
and/or craft employees on construction projects. Determines work priorities and coordinates work activities within
the design area and/or with others outside of the office; apportions work among employees according to abilities or
specialized training coordinates. New construction which involves scheduling meetings and reviewing project
documents as necessary. Collaborates with administrators on the supervision of all work operations, keeps cost
records on work performed and materials; is responsible for the control of costs in materials and wages. Exercises
control over rate of construction progress in order to complete construction project within time limits; schedules jobs
and operations. Estimates materials needed for specific jobs; estimates manpower needed for specific jobs leads
inspection and commission of day to day construction work to enforce conformity to specifications, supervises craft
supervisors, clerical staff, and other personnel employed in construction work, acts as an adviser on job related
problems, deals with individuals requesting information or service, such as agencies, department heads or others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

supervision of all work on the operations phase. Exercises control over rate of construction progress in order to
complete construction project within time limits; schedules jobs and operations. Estimates materials needed for
specific jobs; estimates manpower needed for specific jobs, leads inspection and commission of day to day
construction work to enforce conformity to specifications. Supervises craft supervisors, clerical staff, and other
personnel employed in construction work, acts as an adviser on job related problems, deals with individuals
requesting information or service, such as agencies, department heads or others. Performs other related duties as
assigned.
Office /Field Engineer:
Duties provided field supervision for the project on the day-to-day construction field activities ensuring that company
personnel, along with subcontractors, were performing prescribed duties in a safe and satisfactory manner. Reviews and
processes contractor requests for payment and advises the Resident Engineer regarding approval. Performs research and
compiles technical information. Maintains control over documentation within the Superintend field office. Monitors and
reports on the contractor’s compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements. Coordinates responses to
contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and contractor Requests for Changes (RFCs). Coordinates review of contractor
submittals. Write daily report of project to be presented to the project superintendent.
