Responsibilities:
. Worked in conjunction with the Project
Controls team tracking a $3.7 Billion EPC project built by
Bechtel Corporation. Worked closely with Prairie State
Project Management support personnel tracking rework,
inefficiencies, change orders, and backcharges. In charge
of logging and tracking Bechtel (General Contractor) rework
issues that totaled $20.4 Million before a change in
contract from a T & M to a Lump Sum. Tracked backcharges
and interacted with General Contractor personnel
maintaining logs to insure proper coding, billing
methodology, and accuracy. Tracked and documented
Contractor crane and heavy equipment utilization. Produced
Commodity Reports for Prairie State Owners on a weekly and
monthly basis tracking tube weld counts, weekly steel
quantity progress, concrete yardage, and piping/spool
progress.

. Worked in the Long Beach, CA Main office from December
2008 - July 2009 and then from my home in Shelbyville, TN
from August 2009 - March 2010. Duties included attending
pre-bid meetings at various coal fired power facilities,
defining scope of work and contract documentation, reading
blueprints for various outage/shut-down projects at coal
fired power plants throughout the West, solicited
subcontractor packages to vendors and maintaining
relationships with subcontractors, estimated equipment and
material needs for projects, compiled information utilizing
Microsoft Excel worksheets and spreadsheets to develop man
hours and other estimates for projects up to $35 million
based on field experience and company historical data, and
coordinated scheduling with Primavera Scheduler utilizing P-
3, P-6, and Microsoft Projects software. I have direct
estimating experience from the power block to the twin
boiler towers with a solar power pilot project involving
two 15 MW boilers in Southern California with E-Solar.
