2005 to June 2010
Responsible for the operations of a 16-physician, 170 plus employee
orthopedic practice which include a surgical suite, physical and hand
therapy, orthopaedic urgent care centers and a MRI block lease.
( Restructured the practice to profitability, growing revenue from
$19 million to over $32 million
in 5 years.
( Decreased the overhead percentage from 55% in 2005 to 46% in 2009.
( Implemented and executed the construction and relocation of the
practice to two new
locations within a 4-month period.
( Developed and constructed the area's first stand-alone orthopaedic
urgent care centers.
( Successfully executed the purchase and installation of a digital x-
ray system.
( Negotiated and implemented the switch in practice management
systems from Athena to GE
Centricity.
( Accomplished successful AAAHC surveys in which 3-year
accreditations were received.
