Project: Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) water distribution system with pre-

engineered/assembled building and system reverse osmosis purification

unit (ROPU).

Superintendent / Project Manager 2009

Responsible for project and site management roles including office and

field functions. Challenged with 50 to 60 host country unskilled labor

to be used and the deficiency of quality materials and/or equipment in

the local market. Reported regularly to high-ranking government and

military officials.

. Conducted hands-on skills training; taught proper/safe use of tools

and efficient techniques for handling materials

equipment importation

encompassing independent construction of recreational, dining and kitchen

Construction Manager 2008 to 2009

Recruited for newly created senior position to revive a failing schedule

and increase production while maintaining high quality. Worked with an

existing team of 20+ engineers and technical staff to modify labor

workflow. Identified and successfully implemented changes that resulted

in client's satisfaction.

. Shortened production and completion rates 20% by managing a work force

of 500+ to use more unit fit out on ground before erection and

changing sequencing

U. S. ARMY BASE EXPANSION / Department of Defense / Mortenson

Construction - $77 Million

Project: Barracks and Brigade Headquarters new infrastructure and

utilities Army Base expansion in Ft. Lewis, WA.

Senior Superintendent 2008

Oversaw subcontractor selection/negotiations in pre-construction phase of

this expansion. Prepared control plan for troop/vehicles

movement preparing for demolition of existing in-ground/overhead to meet

utilities/roadways. Set up secured office/site compound.

SATELLITE CITY DEVELOPMENT / Leighton Construction, Chandigarh, India

- $40 Million

Project Manager 2006 to 2007

Retail Shopping/Office Space; Developed into site management and project

Adm. roles. Co-managed site development with condo towers project

management and unitarily developed utilities infrastructures. Worked with

limited western educated upper management positions filled; 35 local

personnel recruits were added to supervise. Mobilized at ground breaking

of this design build mixed-use structure. Ongoing challenge:

mentoring/monitoring subcontractors in safe/modern techniques.

ALDI FOODS / Bovis Lend Lease, Faribault, MN, USA - $44 Million

Superintendent II, 2006

Project: Half million (500,000) Sq. Ft. distribution center with

dry/ammonia base fed freezer/refrigeration systems.

Hired as expert on soils/environmental conditions/reputable contractors

in region. Interviewed/selected contractors. Began pre-construction from

design drawings. Assessed conditions, assembled bid documents; developed

a baseline schedule.

. Despite a 3-month delay due to issues with previous owners, team

effort finished project months early/under budget

. Took charge in working with authorities and achieved a peaceful means

of previous owner from premises

. Successfully maintained environmental issues on these 110 acres of

surrounding protected wetlands

MAYO HEALTHCARE CENTER / Kraus-Anderson, La Crosse, WI, USA - $30

Million

Project: Construction of a skyway connected a state-of-the-art addition

to Franciscan Skemp Hospital, during hospital's full operations.

Attributes consisted of 8 operating rooms, cancer center facilities,

emergency/trauma center, laboratories, X-ray, day surgery suites and a

helicopter pad.

Superintendent / Site Manager 2004

Accountable for control of projects, including maintenance of client's

commitment to a strategy and vision. Manage client relationships,

contractor direction with unquestionable decision- making. Handled

project management (PM) on site.

. Smooth operations existed from start to completion due to insight with

plans/specs/submittals. Concluding principal in Field Inspections

Testing for continuity/quality including formwork, reinforcement,

concrete placement, and steel erection. Expansion, renovation, and

addition of the Hilton included 420 rooms, 10 restaurants, and 7 pools.
