Senior Piping Designer - Power Group Layout, modeling and checking of piping systems, including
pipe supports using PDS 3D piping design software and Pelican forge support modeler. Reference P&ID’s for
piping layouts to make sure all needed items are included in pipe systems, reference all systems in Smartplant
Review Extensive training in Smartplant 3D with followup use to develop standards for production use. Also
used AutoPlant for creation of reference plants.
Projects worked on where:
• 250 MW coal fired power plant retrofit, including new Baghouse, Secondary Catalytic Reduction, (2)
Duct booster fans, Hundreds of feet of exhaust ducting, Turbosorp, various silos, pebble lime receiving
facility, lime hydration facility, ash removal facility and urea to ammonia facility. (GRU Gainesville, Fla)

Cad Manager - Responsible for creating and enforcing the company cad standards for corporate and branch
offices. Review and mark up drawings for complience to the company standards. Training production staff on
new programs and advanced functions using Acad 2007 ADT and solid modeling. Working with Architectral
staff, using Accurender, to produce rendered 3D models, walkthroughs and panoranic views. Support project
managers by coordinating inhouse and sub-contractor work on projects. Provide cad assistance as needed for
various departments to meet deadlines.

Senior Mechanical Designer / Office and Project Cad Coordinator – Primary duties include General
Arrangements, piping layouts, supports and details. Rebis Piping and Equipment modules combined with
AutoCAD solid models for three dimensional reference plants. Fabrication and piece drawings for large
ductwork including details and weldments. As cad coordinator my responsiblties were setting up the “electronic”
part of the job up. My duties include setting up the directory structure for the job, creating the standard title
block, layers, text and dimension styles along with all plotters/printers used on the project. Other duties include
electronic audit of files to check for standards and mark up items that do not conform to company standards,
training new hires on company standards. Troubleshooting and instruction on AutoCAD and Microstation
issues. 3D solid model rendered using Accurender 3.0 and animated “walk-throughs” for company
presentations. Used Rebis piping and equipment module to make piping layouts and isometric details.

Senior Mechanical Designer – Primary duties include General Arrangements, piping layouts and details, parts
drawings and details for fabrication. Most resently worked on $70 million green field roof shingle plant were my
main duties were all material handling for the plant which included Conveyors (flat and bucket) chutes and
speciality items. Other projects included recliam systems for a local concrete plant, field trips for shutdowns.
Also process piping systems, Concrete foundation details, P&ID’s. 3D drawings and renderings for sales
support.

Project Engineer - Use of Sure-trak project management software to develop job schedules, weekly on-site
construction investigations including reports, troubleshooting and solving of construction related problems. Also
generated all drawings used for piece fabrication of systems. Provide computer generated three dimensional
“walk-throughs”, rendered views along with isometric and two dimensional drawings for sales support and
marketing.
