Lead analyst for a project using GIS tools to statistically analyze all
watersheds delineations in the Western United States. Data was acquired
from government agencies and private companies allowing us to combine
weather, moisture accumulation, temperatures and several geographical
variants to derive statistically significant data for all Western United
States watersheds.
Responsibilities:
. Acquisition of raw data including satellite imagery, digital elevation
models, hydrographic, federal GPS points.
. Creation of a relational database for watershed project management.
. Pre-processing of all data into standard datum and projections
relevant to the Western United States.
. Custom built models using ArcGIS 9.x to perform watershed delineations
for over 50,000 watersheds.

. Performed statistical analysis on Bear Lake sculpin data to help
determine most desirable temperature, depth and substrate combination
for reproduction.

. Collected and sorted substrate invertebrate samples in highly
populated Bonneville Cutthroat trout areas and lesser populated areas.
. Identified all substrate invertebrate species located at each
