ADMINISTRATION
o Prepare cost estimates, order and expedite project materials,
perform material take-offs to control costs.
o Maintain project book-keeping, payroll, inventory records as
well as as-built drawings and other related paperwork.
o Review submittals and assure proper materials and procedures are
followed.
o Coordinate the acquisition of necessary permits, site
inspections and scheduling of skilled trades.
o Prepare and submit client proposals and acceptances.
o Confirm completion percentages for schedule tracking, contractor
payments and owner billings.
o Monitor and manage subcontractor labor and material expenses.
o Work with Infection Control to assure sanitary and sterile
conditions.
o Perform daily and weekly safety inspections.
SUPERVISION
o Serve as liaison between Owners/Architects, Project
Managers/Superintendents, and Skilled Trades.
o Direct work crews in the construction and renovation of
institutional, commercial, and residential structures, such as
hospitals, retail establishments and restaurants.
o Train superintendents in corporate procedures including daily
paperwork, logs and basic computer operation.
o Hire and terminate field personnel: secretaries, carpenters,
laborers, etc.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
o Designed, modified, and erected institutional, commercial, and
residential structures utilizing drawings and client
specifications, as well as written and conceptual ideas.
o Erected and/or supervised construction of hospitals, prison,
schools, financial institutes, as well as single and multiple
family dwellings.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
o Have successfully brought several projects back on track. Have
taken over when superintendents were being transferred to other
sites or projects that had been abandoned by superintendents.
o Reduced hard costs of HUD low-income homes by 6%.
o Bring projects in on time and within budget.
