PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

S.A.I.C.

March 13, 2006 - January 22, 2010 Senior Environmental Engineer and

Programmer

Developed the following models to cost unit processes for drinking water

treatment plants; conventional filtration, direct filtration, dissolved air

flotation, lime softening and residuals handling. This required design,

take offs, and determining costs for required appurtenances. Conducted

quality assurance on models developed by others to ensure accuracy and

consistency between the models. These models will allow the U.S. EPA to

estimate the economic effects of regulatory changes in water quality

standards. Assisted with programming effort in Excel using Visual Basic for

Applications to develop a decision model pertaining to drinking water

standards for the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. Led in the

development of Access databases containing raw water data pertaining to

ground water and surface water constituents, created queries to determine

locations where contaminant levels exceeded the Maximum Contaminant Levels

using data from NAWQA, SDWIS and STORET. Assisted in the evaluation of the

existing water distribution system, treatment and modeling efforts of a

U.S. territory for enforcement efforts.

S.A.I.C.

process for drinking water treatment. Conducted quality assurance,

developed and programmed equations for costs and sizing for various unit

processes for drinking water treatment in the WBS model. Assisted with

programming effort in Excel using Visual Basic for Applications to develop

a decision model pertaining to drinking water standards for the U. S.

Environmental Protection Agency.
