Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jim Bishop and I am writing to you seeking a position
with your company. I am seeking the position of HR associate that you have posted on your website for the
Louisville KY office. I believe that I have the qualities and experience that you are seeking for this position.
I would like to take this opportunity to briefly list some of my previous experience, education and qualities
that I think could possibly be a match with your organization.
I have considerable experience working not only in Human Resources in a management role, performing
functions such as, payroll, tax reporting, OSHA guidelines, recruitment, training and developing employee
guidelines and handbooks. I also have experience in the manufacturing industry in cost control, budgeting,
and production. I have experience in many aspects of the operations of a high demanding fully functional
Human Resources Department. I am highly skilled in all operations of office management. I am proficient in
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and I also have experience and knowledge of Oracle, SAP, and
Peoplesoft. With strong communication and writing skills, I feel like I would make an excellent addition to
your Human Resource team.
Currently I am attending Elizabethtown Community and Technical college with over 30 credit hours of
instruction in business management with an emphasis on Human Resources. I have a 3.56 GPA and ended
my spring semester with a 4.0 GPA. I would like to state that my education requirements would not interfere
with my work related responsibilities. My last required coursework is being done through their distance
learning program leaving me the opportunity to pursue my career in Human Resources.
My wife and I are relocating to the Oldham / Jefferson county area so that my wife can further her career
in law enforcement and I am actively seeking employment with a strong stable company that offers the
opportunity for both professional and personal growth and development.

unemployment was voluntary as I am the primary care giver for our child. This decision was made in order to
facilitate the advancement of my spouses chosen career.

Responsibilities: The production of axle components for a tier 1 automotive manufacturer. I was later placed
over control stores, which was the inventory and distribution of axle components through out the plant.
Moving and locating parts as required per manufacturers request for product. MRP. Extensive knowledge of
