WORK HISTORY
April 2008 – To Current
Practice Administrator Ronnelle Burley, M.D.
**** **** **. ****e B Lubbock, Texas 79410
806-***-**** Providing full time Practice
Management in the Development of the practice of Ronnelle Burley from an MSO to a new level being independently physician owned practice.
This would involve establishing and developing guide lines and structuring of a practice that would require nurturing in the growth. In taking this
position I was mentored by an individual that stated this would be the longest and most trying to two years of my life. I would venture to say it
has been extremely rewarding, challenging and of great growth. This has been accomplished in less than two years. The practice a strong
vibrant patient based ob/gyn practice with great great growth potential for success now and continued in the future. The addition to the practice
came when the Nurse Practitioner was added as additional growth in the practice which substitutes financial growth when the physician is out of
the office in surgery. This practice required the development of new guidelines, credentialing with Insurance Companies and the determination
of fee schedules, discovery and evaluation of Billing Medical Software System, EMC Billing (Availity), processing of charge entry, payroll system,
fee schedules, practice guidelines within the Ronnelle Burley, M.D. Practice. Staffing became very important due to the benefit package being
evaluated by the guidelines of a private practice, HIPPA Guidelines to be followed with the practice and patient in mind, incorporating a
physician into the ownership of their practice. Researching other methods of reimbursement that would allow for development and growth of the
practice. Opening up the schedule for Friday am procedures that are typically performed in the hospital to a clinic setting.
The successful development of this practice and the stability in which it stands on is in the growth in the patient base it acquires. My goals have
been reached and accomplished.
