Overview
Managed all aspects of contracts, to establish and maintain self-sufficient
operations in volatile environments including: conflict/post-conflict and

Familiarity with navigational aids, aircraft design characteristics,
airfield operations and meteorology was essential for the successful
management of flight operations in austere environments.
Planned crew rotations, ensured effective logistics of aircrafts parts,

of base infrastructure.
Executed tasks in strict compliance with Civil/FAA, UN/WFP and company
approved SOP's.
Chaired weekly safety and operations meetings with crew and the
WFP/UNHAS/UNHCR to ensure that airfield conditions, flight safety and
security issues at all destinations were addressed.
Created Emergency Response Plans (ERP) in collaboration with the UN, WFP,
UNHCR, local military and local government for each contract location which
included continuous threat assessment of operational and airfield
locations. Tailored ERP's according to situational and environmental
factors.
Interacted closely with local government and local communities to establish
a support network that optimized current and future contract operations.
I liaised daily, with the client and company headquarters to discuss
airfield and base safety/security, flight operations, flight planning,
aircraft maintenance, and other general base needs.
Researched, created and maintained "Jungle Jep's" (navigational aids) to be
at hand in order to expedite missions to isolated and remote locations
efficiently and effectively.
Constant oversight was essential to ensure base/asset and crew safety as
well as optimal security in volatile and constantly changing surroundings.
Administrative
Submitted weekly flight hour, flight safety, security, maintenance and
financial reports to headquarters.
Completed and archived flight administrative work according to FAA/Civil
Aviation Authority regulations.
