Food Service Worker/Cook, September 2007 to June 2008
Golf Course Snack Bar @ Marshallia Ranch Golf Course, Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA
• Prepared and cooked simple fare (i.e. hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, fries, ect.)
• Worked the cash register taking and exchanging money, doing simple calculations, and using the
credit card machine
• Closed out the cash register at night, counted up money and receipts, and then entered all that
information into the computer system for records
• Operated, broke down, and cleaned all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleaned kitchen
equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators). Washed dishes, glasses, silverware, and food
containers. Washed down tables and counters in the dining room. Also swept and mopped kitchen floors
every night.

3 elderly Carmelite Nuns with basic upkeep and maintenance of their 100 acre farm/property)
• Volunteered in a classroom setting helping teach children about religion (Sunday School)
• Served food to homeless and disadvantage people at the Good Samaritan Shelter in Santa Maria, CA
for several years
