EXPERIENCE:
1989 -Present- Owner/Operator Oddo Construction. As the owner/ operator of Oddo
Construction, my responsibilities include developing all cost estimates, completion
schedules and billing proposals for submission to industry and private customers as
well as negotiating and executing subsequent contracts for services. Upon acceptance
of the aforementioned, I secured all the necessary construction permits and proceeds
with management, administration and the execution go the projects. I have estimated
jobs $100-$ 85,000 and successfully executed all projects through completion within
cost and schedule constraints. Services include all phases of construction and
remodeling and range from minor home and business renovations, bath and kitchen
remodeling, home additions, garages, sheds and other structures
Residential services included new and existing layout and installation of floor joist
and sub floors on foundation blocks: framing of walls, doors and windows: setting of
roof joist: installing sub-roof with ventilation as necessary: sheathing roof: installing
shingles: installing finished flooring: hanging and finishing sheetrock: hanging doors
and windows and applying trim: installing shoe, crown and chair molding. Residential
projects were completed in accordance with applicable State Law, Codes and
Compliance.
Throughout all phases of all my projects, I maintained excellent communication with
designers, coordinators and customers to ensure expert installation, and a
professionally finished product within cost and schedule restraints.
Commercial Experience
1996- Present / Lead Man/Lay- out Supervisor
Part of the new construction for M.D Anderson Hospital, Meyerland Mall and Minute
Maid Park. Remodeling of San Jacinto College( north, south) campuses, Deer Park
Auditorium
Duties included, but were not limited to: Blue Reading, wall lay-out and construction
of walls, Fir-Downs, Acoustical drop ceilings: Auditorium stages and construction of
clouds for acoustical sound: framing metal stud walls, anchoring floor tracks to cement
slab, anchoring track to beams(ceiling) and ceiling bar joist using ramset anchors and
22 caliber shot. Installing of aluminum paneling .Hanging ” and 5/8” sheetrock to
code for fire protection. Commercial entry doors and security doors: installing all lock
and security door hardware. Installing resilient vinyl to floors and replacement of
ceramic tile.
Have show success with leadership for 2-30 men on jobsites.
