Responsibilities include: following all safety and emergency evacuation

duties, share with crewmembers the responsibility for the safety of

passengers as specified by the company and FAA Regulations. Most

importantly, responsible for cabin safety while maintaining the foremost in

quality and excellence of passenger and in-flight cabin service.

Coordinating with other crewmembers to assure a smooth operation with

maximum efficiency. Perform required preflight checks of emergency

equipment, catering/commissary supplies, cabin appearance. Report any

discrepancies Captain. Perform security checks in the cabin, closets,

galleys and lavatories for any suspicious or unidentifiable items. Assist

flight crew in manifesting passengers including any special information

needed for international flights. Brief passengers on the following:

Smoking, location of emergency exit row seating and seating requirements,

use of oxygen, seatbelts, seat backs, tray tables, aisle path lighting, and

life preservers and rafts (as applicable).

Key member of cabin safety and validation proving run with FAA resulting in

initial certification approval. Ensure all FAA guidelines and company

policies regarding/including customer safety are in compliance.

Responsible for all duties required for Part 135, 121 and 91 flights and

processes. Assisted in FAA approval of Dash 8 flight attendant training

program and provided in-flight operational experience guidelines,

supervision and provided all aspects of customer service as pertains to

specific clientele. While in Flight Operations, input and reconcile of

daily and monthly flight logs for over 9 planes, and on site staff working

in communication center with incoming and outgoing traffic on airstrip. All

record keeping, filing, maintaining of flight log files (these files

included block time/flight time/customer charge-out, and fuel charges),

used in monthly charges in invoices billed to customers.

I wrote Flight Attendant Manual & Training Program for a start up part

91/125/135 operation for Turbo-Prop, proving runs, all dealings with the

FAA POI and Cabin Safety Specialist to ensure regs, and requirements for

initial certification process, and transfer of certification from Southern

to Eastern region. I hire, train, and maintain all records for the Flight

Attendants, fly rotations with the DASH 8 program stateside and overseas.

Worked in Flight Operations and Selection and Training when not flight line

or training. Check airman Certification for Flight Attendant Trainer thru

FAA, and also have ability to obtain and maintain (2) security clearances.
