Senior Lab Technician

> Lead the team in identifying opportunities to improve utilization of

the Gas Stand area of the Technical Center.

> Ability and knowledge to perform all aspects of turbocharger testing

in each area of the Technical Center while identifying opportunity for

improving the process and or data accuracy.

Lab Technician

> Worked as an integral part of the team to relocate the Technical

Center from Indianapolis to Asheville. Primary responsibility was to

implement the Gas Stand testing portion of the Technical Center.

> Review engineering requirements per work request system, assembly and

operation of turbochargers, setup and operation of gas stands with

limited exposure to engine dynamometers to include dad evaluation that

produces accurate and repeatable results with a zero defect goal.

> Perform bench and special testing as required.

> Setup and operate various machines in different departments in

manufacturing.

> Additional responsibilities included coordinating work flow and

assisting other operators with issues they might have.

Safety Team

> Serve as a member of various safety teams which help drive BorgWarner

Asheville team members to achieve a Five Star Safety award and State

Recognition for five million hours without a lost time injury. The

teams include; Fire Response Team, Medical Response Team, Hazardous

Materials Team.

perform daily maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities as

required, perform pre-incident surveys and inspections on commercial

adequate coverage of shifts.

> As the Fire Safety Officer I initiated the implementation of a

community based fire safety program.

hazardous materials emergencies within the community providing
