Operational Achievements:
. Reduced weekly invoicing time from 3 hours per Service Center and a
staggered schedule that resulted in a full day of invoicing to less than
30 minutes for all Service Centers concurrently. Accomplished by
replacing a slow network attached storage device with a faster storage
area network and improved server configurations.
. Reduced downtime for the primary business application from approximately
3 hours per week to less than 10 minutes per month. Accomplished by
correcting application server and software configurations and
standardizing setups across servers.
. Improved Help Desk response time and dramatically improved internal
customer satisfaction survey scores by documenting common issues and the
proper procedures to correct.
. Replaced hub and spoke wide area network design with a fully meshed MPLS
backbone which resulted in better performance and eliminated single point
