control specialist processing all new documents created and any

documents consisted of detailed instructions and specifications
of the fuel pumps that were put together in the production
line. Most all the company's documents are Excel documents. I
mostly worked in Microsoft Excel, and a few documents were
created in Microsoft Word. I created spreadsheets and updated
current documents in the system to improve the quality of the
instructions for consistency. I moved from the Quality Control

directly for the Production Engineering Manager and his

Duties entailed clerical and administrative functions including

communications. The use of File Maker Pro program, Excel and
Microsoft Word.
Handled incoming calls, directed the claimant's calls to their
appropriate claims adjusters within the office. The File Maker
program was used to access the claimant's file to answer any
questions, to check the status of the date their checks were
mailed and/or other questions they may have about their claim.
Email communications were received from the company's handling
attorney's giving the status of certain claimant's files. I would
look up each correspondence related to the claimant's that were
sent from the company's handling attorney, then paste each letter
into the claimant's file in the File Maker program, then direct
all email correspondence to the designated claims examiner within
the office. Generated excel spreadsheets for the monthly claim
settlements, and other spreadsheets as requested. Assembled the
company's "profile" binders to be mailed for business inquiry
requests. Assisted in data entry, in File Maker Pro entering the
dated and amount of when the claimant's checks were posted.

The Company was highly specialized in roofing and waterproofing
technical consultancy.
Approximately 65 to 70% of the company's work was spent in
providing investigation reports directly to law firms in support
of litigation claims and the remaining 35 to 30% in providing
technical consultancy reports to private home owners. We employed
a small team of four Consultant Engineers, supported by three
Technicians and my prime job was to coordinate their activity
schedules with law firms, customers and contractors. This
entailed; scheduling site inspections, meetings, compiling daily
assignment sheets, arranging travel and transportation,
coordinating the availability of drawings, blueprints, etc. and
other activities required to support the engineering personnel.
I maintained all of this data on a two-month "look-a-head" basis
both on a daily updated "white-board" and on computer.
Additionally, I typed all litigation agreement contracts,
investigation proposals and general correspondence, and maintained
the office filing and records systems. Much of my work was by use
of computer and I used and was conversant with Microsoft Windows
98, Microsoft Excel 98, Calendar Program "Now-Up-To-Date" and
"File Maker Pro".
