Associate - Benefits Administration (Supervisor)

A member of the flexible benefit conversion project, successfully

implemented in six months. Administered a flexible benefit program for

approximately 9,000 retirees and survivors, executive staff, management and

five different union groups of employees in multiple facilities.

Implemented a new retiree/survivor prescription drug program within 25% of

the normal time frame. Developed, wrote and edited quarterly

Retiree/Survivor Newsletters and benefit communication materials, including

a recruitment booklet and brochure used by Human Resources. Re-designed the

Summary Annual Reports (SARs) for management and five different union

groups, reducing processing time by more than 50%.

and payroll knowledge, I enabled my department to eliminate considerable

backlog within three months and triple financial reporting capabilities and

customized benefit statement production at a 99% quality effectiveness

level within one year. This resulted in improved internal and external

customer service.
