responsibilities included hazmat training for newly hired associates for designated areas.
• Designed assembly department processes using M.O.S.T. (Maynard Operation Sequence
Technique) too efficiently and safely design jobs for the 2005 new model Acura RDX. This
allowed for workflow/process improvements in the area and contributed to an on time 2005 new
model launch.
• Implemented safety/ergonomic countermeasures to decrease OSHA reportable injuries to
associates by implementing needed controls and identifying excessive movements such as
kneeling and bending on heavily impacted processes.
• Designed equipment lifts and ergonomic friendly tables to reduce injuries on high volume jobs.
• Supervised teams of sixteen to twenty associates during assembly production.
