Senior Commodity Specialist

. I was responsible for source selection, supplier relations and

the procurement process, including logistics and inventory, for

all fabricated product used in the manufacture of Gaming

Machines. Annual expenditures for my commodities varied from 85

to 150.0 mil based upon production to the S &OP plan. I also

handled all NPI Fabrication Procurement including tooling for

New Platforms, and introduced all fabricated parts for 14 new

platforms in one year. I was team leader of the ISO Supplier

Quality Audit Inspection team and the ISO Supplier

Qualification Team responsible for new Suppliers. Travel

included all supplier visits for audits and acquisition

planning, this included overseas travel to Australia and China.

Distribution, including Purchasing . Responsible for inventory

pre-calls as well as cold calls for new account development. I

wrote the companies Quality Manual to be consistent with ISO

policies and procedures.

Senior Commodity Buyer/ Assistant Purchasing Manager

I was responsible for supplier selection, supplier relations,

logistics and inventory and procurement contracts for a number

of commodities, including all Injection Molded Plastics used by

Vendo. I was the engineering liaison for the purchasing

department and worked directly with engineers in the area of

supply base development for product design. I had held several

positions at Vendo, including Senior Buyer - Parts Division,

Engineering Change Coordinator, and Master Scheduler. I also

served as an internal ISO auditor for the Company.
