offers design, planning and technical support of digital, sheetfed

offset, screen printing and bindery services.

Estimator, Customer Service, Sales & Purchasing

As a primary contact for the company's cliental, I gathered

specifications, responded to bid requests, estimated costs and furnished

prices. After the sale had been confirmed, I wrote the job ticket and any

purchase orders necessary for outside services, arranged for proofs and

samples, oversaw the production and kept clients informed of the

project's current status.

A commercial sheetfed printing company featuring design and prepress, 40"

four and two color presses, a 28" 6 color press with aqueous coating and

a small press department. Within the smaller equipment, we offered an HP

Indigo, a Heidelberg DI, several one and two color duplicators plus a

letterpress section with foil, emboss, and die-cutting. In addition, we

maintained a bindery facility with 2 paper cutters, 3 folders, a

saddlestitcher with cover feeder and 3-knife trimmer plus shrinkwrap,

drilling and handworking areas.

Manager of Estimating, Customer Service, & Purchasing

Reported to company president with responsibility for responding to bid

requests, planning projects, cost estimates and purchasing. In customer

service, I was the primary contact for house account clients and

performed back up support for the sales team. Such support included

estimating and job specifications, proofing, vendor service pricing,

scheduling, and delivery dates.

Southwestern Bell, the entire plant was closed after an agreement was

reached with R.R. Donnelly to supply their directories.
