RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Assoc. Systems Analyst/Web Developer, ConAgra Foods Inc, Omaha, NE
Jan 2009 - Present
PROJECTS
CADI Application SSIS Conversion
. Data Conversion Project for ConAgra's CADI (ConAgra Alert Distressed
Inventory) application involving upgrading DTS packages to SSIS (SQL
Server Integration Services) Packages. Application is used to track
inventory that is at risk due either to the age of the inventory, damage,
and other quality issues or is being discontinued.
. Migrated dts packages created to run with SQL Server 2000 for .NET
enterprise application to SSIS in order to be compatible with SQL Server
2005 because of constant errors in the scheduled ETL process.
. This was based on versioning issues between SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
B-Safe Web Application
. Web application created to reduce the total number of incident reports
(TIRs) for Environmental Health & Safety and foster cost savings as it
relates to workman's comp claims within factory locations for Consumer
Foods, Commercial Foods and Research Quality and Innovation (RQI) Food
Quality and Safety business units.
. Due to a strict deadline used Agile implementation to develop a Web
application with WebDynpro Java for Netweaver tying into SAP z-tables.
. Worked on various components which formed functional units of the
application using the MVC design pattern to highlight reporting, admin
security, app level security, application interface data interaction,
application data processing.
. Worked on creating the Web interface design with role based security
passed via portal using AD roles.
Sustainable Development Reporting (SDRT Application)
. Uses the MVC pattern of development embedding portal security built into
the framework of the application to deliver a SSO (Single Sign On) token
to the Web application.
. The application calculates raw material metric unit mixes used by plant
manufacturers to determine appropriate portions required in order to be
compliant with industry standard regulations as per Sarbanes-Oxley.
. The resultant used metrics stored in an Oracle database are passed on to
Reports (Crystal Reports) which higher level management extracts
periodically.
HR Top Reports Application
. .NET application created to work with Crystal Reports XI interfacing with
an Oracle 10g database.
. Developed for HR Employees within the organization in the absence of the
fully integrated Resource Management System (HRMS)
. The application was built to deliver highly secure employee data
segmented by Organizational Hierarchy to reports.
. Used PL-SQL to develop a Stored Procedure which sorted through various
levels of employee data based on selected parameters from the web UI.
. Selected parameters were matched against the logged in user's level of
security access referenced from HR PeopleSoft data.
. After reports were extracted due to highly sensitive data, selected
parameters stored in a temp table are deleted by the Stored Procedure.
