SUSAN TIEDEMANN
Resume for Project Editor - Yarn Group position at Interweave LLC
Requisition #186 on ResumeBook360
I have been a prolific knitter for the past 15 years. I taught
myself to knit using a how-to booklet and was thrilled to finish my
first scarf even with all its holes, dropped stitches and accidental
increases.
I quickly became hooked on fiber arts and have been knitting, among
other techniques, ever since. I enjoy challenges and so I am always
seeking ways to improve my knitting and increase my skills. Over
the years I have become quite proficient at pattern reading, basic
stitches, felting, circular knitting (moebius, two socks on one
needle, one sock on two needles, etc.) cable knitting, entrelac,
multi-colored patterns with texture, socks, stranded knitting, lace
work and sweater construction such as armhole shaping, sleeves,
necklines, seams and blocking.
I also belong to local knitting groups and have enjoyed coordinating
group projects and assisting fellow knitters with:
. Yarn and pattern selection
. Techniques to obtain gauge
. Reading a patterns
. Tips for working and successfully completing a pattern
. Blocking
. Assembly and care
I would be more than happy to provide images of my projects and
answer any questions that you may have. I look forward to hearing
from you.
Thanks,
Susan Tiedemann
