PC Deployment Technician

Key Results:

. Latest project performed involves upgrading on 800+ laptops for

Astella's employees, performed data migration on IBM laptops, creating

and/or loading user profiles, including Outlook pst files and shared files

& networks, and QA's on all finished laptops.

. Assisted in migration of United HealthCare employee user data and

pushing user-specific applications, advising users when their computers

will be migrated, delivering and setting up desktop and laptop computers,

mice, keyboards, power bricks and locks (for laptops) and placing chair

drop sheets advising users that their computers have been migrated and who

to call for assistance if they have issues. Duties also included assistance

with new and old computer inventory and collecting old equipment, placing

it in cartons for shipping.

. Performed installation and setup of 5+ laptops and printers working

on the wireless network and to be working wirelessly with no issues on

Corinthian College campus site.

. Utilized FI's in the field for non-network site questions and

assistance for US Bank Las Vegas/Henderson areas. Duties include un-boxing

new equipment while setting up the server, router and switch. Also de-

MacBook (Apple) laptops, and PC Support and Acquisition alignment for Red

Bull, Inc. Software used were Java, Adobe, Windows 2000, XP and Vista, and

Apple.

. Performed PC Support and Acquisition alignment for Sierra Health

Services, Inc., a diversified healthcare services organization based in Las

Vegas, Nevada, was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in December 2008.

. Responsible for un-boxing, building, deploying and disposing of all

new and old hardware for Lufthansa Systems (LSG-Sky Chef), as well as

validating all checklist data is 100% accurate. Escalation point is the

Traveling Technician, whom is responsible for managing all site Field

Technicians, ensuring all desktop hardware is built per the User Portfolio,

as well as leading efforts to solve technical problems encountered at

sites. All deployment sites used Empirum as their setup utility, and

Windows XP as the OS.
