Programmer / Analyst
Analyzed and documented system performance; recommended the acquisition of a new AS400 which increased productivity
and saved the company $40K at the time of purchase.
Using Microsoft Excel, tracked inventory, negotiated prices, and made all acquisitions of supplies to Pioneer for their AS400
operations.
Worked with accounting during inventory to verify the accuracy of inventory and research any abnormalities, provided solutions
to correct inaccuracies.
Project Manager during AS400 operating system upgrade from V4R5 to V5R1. Developed the action plan, schedule, test
documents, and tracking documentation as well as coordinated the testing used to validate a successful upgrade.
Investigated and recommended the acquisition of new software, Spool Flex, which converted AS/400 reports to either a PDF
or Excel format that was sent to the network. This allowed the company to meet requirements of ISO-14000 with their paper
reduction efforts and had a ROI (Return on Investment) of less than four months.
Served as the Technical Expert on several projects during the design, testing, and implementation of new systems that
enhanced system functionality. Wrote user procedures for all new development and trained the users on the performance of
duties associated with each new system.
Scheduled and held meetings as needed to discuss projects being worked on in addition to developing priorities and action

Designed and implemented an ordering and shipment tracking system that utilized FTP to transfer data from an AS/400 to the
