Work History:

Kelly Services October 2005 - May 2010

Positions encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including the

following clients:

( Cordis (a Johnson & Johnson company) - Miami Lakes, Florida

Primary duties included proofreading of labeling documents such as semi-

blank package labels, sterile caution text, instructions for use, cartons,

pouches, and other materials for cardio-, endo-, and neurovascular

products. Computer-generated labeling became an additional job

responsibility in August of 2009. Using our in-house system for tracking,

justifying, and approving changes, completed labels were routed for

signatures. Physical archives of both the proofreading and computer-

generated label design work were kept for accountability purposes. I also

authored training documents and internal checklists, along with other

duties as assigned.

( AACE International - Morgantown, West Virginia

This testing and certification organization for engineers required

assistance reorganizing their filing system, creating and mailing test

packages, receiving and grading exams, and fulfilling membership requests

via welcome packets. Additionally, test-related essays were scanned,

edited, proofread (for format only), and prepared for grading.

( Omnicare, Inc. - Morgantown, West Virginia

Originally, the incumbent was to process accounts payable at the site

level, keep records, greet visitors, and report site statistical data to a

centralized corporate office. The position evolved to include additional

receptionist and administrative assistant duties to the site manager.

After several months, I was offered a promotion to the billing department

as the collections representative for the region, responsible for securing

payment on over 3,000 past due accounts. Methods used in pursuit of this

goal included direct calls and customer-specific past due letters, and

referral for legal action as necessary. Self-monitoring was conducted to

record success and failure rates, which were presented to supervisors.

( Clear Mountain Bank - Bruceton Mills, West Virginia

Batches of checks received for deposit arrived and were scanned into our

computer system. When a check's image would come across the screen, it was

proofed for completeness, fraud prevention features, and accuracy. The

total value for each batch was compared to the total reported by the teller

to ensure a match before the checks could be considered validated. This

involved viewing literal thousands of checks daily, and a high degree of

speed and accuracy.

Mailroom duties required the use of postage, envelope-stuffing, and paper-

folding machines, and centered around the sending out of account

statements.

Southern Maryland Insurance August 2002 - December 2004 - Bowie, Maryland

I was originally hired as the front desk receptionist. Shortly after

arriving, I took and passed the exam to obtain my Property and Casualty

insurance agent license, at which point I was given additional duties.

These included issuance and service of personal insurance policies, travel

to client homes to obtain photos of potential interests, development and

implementation of advertising materials, and assisting with bilingual

commercial lines customers. When two personal lines insurance agents left

the company, their books of business were passed on to me. My receptionist

duties continued concurrently with these added responsibilities.
