OBJECTIVE
I am currently seeking a position in serving, bartending, management, or any position which can effectively utilize my multi-tasking skills. I have extensive experience in all aspects of service including bookkeeping, inventory, making server schedules, table service, bar service, maintaining a clean environment in keeping with Board of Health standards, conducting interviews for new employees, terminating employment, cash handling, night deposits, closing on my own and locking up with my own key. I have some back of house experience limited to “helping out”, such as making salads, pizzas, light frying, desserts, dishes, inventory, and occasional grilling and sauce prep. In addition to my serving and bartending experience, I have for the past 6 years run my own in-home childcare. In addition to keeping up with all of the financial/business aspects of a childcare, I also greatly improved upon my ability to multitask while remaining calm and patient in a stressful environment. Maintained fine dining service at the tables and elegant service at the bar seats, as well as maintaining the service bar for the entire restaurant. Duties included bar prep, inventory, heavy cash handling, cleaning, full bar and table service including but not limited to table setting, bussing, drink prep, food running, etc. Wine, martini, and single malt scotch knowledge was a must. This was an extremely busy late night stop for local judges and politicians including the mayor and city assessor. Cash totals exceeded 10,000 on a regular basis during weekend hours. I was responsible for night drops at the bank and opening and closing alone.
