Scout Camp each summer and camp maintenance the remainder of the year. I
create employee schedules, manage the staff, manage the camp, work with
the budget, salaries, international staff, employee hire and reprimand
procedures, Provide customer service to staff and our customers, Work
directly with area directors to create and provide safe and productive
courses for summer campers. Work with the equine, 50+ head, and direct
volunteers, entertain customers, create meal activities, and manage 70-
90 staff 7 days a week. This job was very rewarding in that it provides
for the youth; however I accepted a large reduction in pay to get back
to managing a larger number of employees. My goal in accepting this
offer was to get back into customer service and employee relations, and
to effectively manage large numbers of employees.
