Calvert, Alabama. Presently the largest on-going new carbon and

stainless steel mill installation project in the United States of America.

FALL PROTECTION AND HAZARD PREVENTION / CONTROL

Recently assisted General Motors Corporation at its Parma Stamping

Plant in Brookpark, Ohio with remediation of over 1000 potential Fall

Hazards. The efforts involved structural engineering assistance as

well as OSHA Code compliant Fall Protection analysis, design &

repair / remediation aspects.

Additionally have been part of several structural teams of engineers that

have engineered new & replaced existing Fall Protection Horizontal

Lifelines Systems in numerous Steel Mill Plants / Facilities in Ohio and

Opened and managed an engineering office of ( 8 ) men including

STRUCTURAL DEPARTMENT MANAGER

Privileged to have been the Structural Department Manager at

Continental Design and Management Group during which time I

managed a Structural Staff of six that developed approximately 3

Million Dollars of new reinforced concrete foundations at Republic

Engineered Technologies Inc. in Lorain, Ohio for their new Steel Billet

Transfer System.

Proud to have participated as part of an engineering structural team for

the Cleveland Hopkins Airport Expansion and NASA RESEARCH

CENTER FACILITIES RELOCATION PROJECT where I assisted in

providing Structural Engineering Designs for some ( 12 ) new Building

structures for the NASA RESEARCH CENTER affected by the growth

of the adjacent Airport. These efforts included the engineering and

design of a heavy wood Timber Picnic Pavilion, a structural steel &

reinforced concrete HAZARDOUS MATERIALS STORAGE

Part of a team of engineers that provided the architectural and structural

engineering analysis, design and details for the LAKE METROPARKS

THEMEPARK FARM BUILDINGS in Kirtland, Ohio. The connecting

building of which being a wood heavy timber beam barn style structure

with adjacent amphitheater and petting zoo.

Provided B F Goodrich with code compliant structural analysis and

design modifications relative to an existing overloaded Pipe Bridge

requiring additional reinforcement and piping to be added to the

structure.

Provided LTV, Cleveland, Ohio with Steel Mill Building Crane Runway

Rail Optimization Projects performing code compliant crane rail three

dimensional re-alignment optimization aspects to improve crane

runway operating conditions.

Provided numerous Operating & Non Operating Nuclear Power Plant

structural analysis and design work including steel and concrete

structures, pipe whip restraint designs, block wall analyses, etc..

Construction Superintendent responsible for the building of sixteen

Condominium Units including access roads, walks, drives, utilities

installations, etc. at Northfield Woods Condominiums in Northfield,

Ohio.

Part of a team of structural engineers that developed a Nuclear Power

Plant Piping and structural related computer program called

“CONCISE” that merged a dozen different existing piping and

structural computer software programs into one more user friendly

program that significantly reduced the amount of time required to

produce the safe nuclear related piping and structural designs.
