Selected Accomplishments
Grew durable goods sales to 143% of quota. Builder Division required sell
strategy for newly-introduced brand products. Implemented GOOD-BETTER-BEST
program to include Magic-Chef, Maytag and Jenn-Air to builders, matching
construction from apartments to luxury homes. Won Maytag Brand Sales Award
for level of achievement.
Increased pool sales 27% with award-winning design. Master Pools client
sought very difficult, free-form pool. Created plan, to address specific
client needs. Oversaw subcontractors, delivering most unique design in
company history. Received Gold Award from Master Pools Guild. Leveraged
achievement to increase regional sales.
Launched successful Jenn-Air sales campaign. Acquisition of high-end
specialty brand for Builder Division required new sales strategy. Products
would require efficient but special installation. Created new channel to
sell full-kitchen packages, including installation. Achieved 133% of quota,
winning Builder-Eagle-of-the-Year award.
Expanded Builder Division sales 22%. Maytag division often required models
that were not popular in the retail market. Defined need to rebrand
specific products out of the retail market. Teamed with national marketing
team, creating eight SKUs that led to a rapid growth of division sales.
Delivered 32% territory sales increase. Sears looked to increase
incremental sales without increasing existing customer base. Targeted
existing buyers to purchase HVAC systems, water heaters and garage-door
openers in addition to major home appliances, at times doubling individual
gross sales.
Revamped outbound call center. Inefficient Builder Division call center was
impacting commercial sales. Led team evaluation, identifying key areas for
improvement. Benchmarked with sister company to develop proposed changes.
Implemented recommendations, increasing productivity 26% and receiving best-
in-class recognition.
Career History
Senior Sales Representative, Master Pools of WA, 2003-2009. Developed
complete pricing and descriptive sales proposals. Received Gold Award for
sale of the most unique designed free-style pool in the company's history.
Maytag Appliances. Manufacturer of Magic Chef, Maytag and Jenn-Air brands
for retail and builder clients.
District Manager, 2000-2003. Managed brand, channel and direct sales for
five brands in the Pacific Northwest. Recruited expanded sales force 20%.
Designed and implemented training and incentive programs.
Key Accounts Manager, 1996-2000. Introduced tiered selling of brands for
direct builder sales, manufactured homes and R/V market.
Earlier: Continuous growth through sales and sales management positions for
Maytag, Sears Contract Sales, Gavois Merchandisors and Burstein Applebee
consumer electronics.
