Twenty one years experience with the MVS Mainframe process which involves having knowledge

JCL, TSO, CLISTS, SYNCSORT, RACF, VSAM, DASD MANAGEMENT, FILE-AID, DB2/IMS

DATABASE ADMINISTRATION, ATMS, JESMASTER, MS-DOS, PVCS TRACKER,

EASYTRIEVE, SAS, SAR, CA7, CA11, CONTROL M, NDM, MICROSOFT OFFICE

PRODUCTS, CUSTOM STATEMENT FORMATTER (CSF), SOFTWARE APPLICATION and

WEB TESTING incorporating the FULL LIFECYCLE TEST process.

SIGNIFICANT WORK HISTORY

IBM 04/08 – 08/08 SOFTWARE TEST ANALYST

Hired as a Contractor to provide MVS Test Support for a Customer Billing application. This

involved attending all Release meetings and creating the test environment to verify all MVS

software changes. Created trouble reports for any issues found and passed these on to

development for resolution. This position also involved the verification and coordination of any

changes made to the CA7 job scheduling process.

Property Manager 09/06 – 06/09

Responsibilities include rent collection, Dwelling repairs/upkeep, and monitoring any contractor

work that needs to be performed.

ENGEL Consulting Group 04/06 – 7/06

Completed a project with the Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund in the Orlando area which involved

QA support of an internal product; (Reflections) which operated within a CICS environment . This

enabled the Title Fund’s customers to access the information needed to provide their clients

support in a timely manner. The Fund supports the needs and promotes the success of attorneys'

real estate practices by providing valuable, relevant, and timely information, as well as innovative

products and services that allow attorneys to conduct transactions electronically, easily, and

efficiently.

PF1 Professional Services 11/05 – 02/06

Completed a contract with Syniverse Technology in the Tampa Bay area. This was a Production

Support position to ensure the success of the project in an IBM mainframe production and

lifecycle environment. Syniverse provides technology interoperability, network services, number

portability which allows mobile subscribers to receive voice and data services while roaming on

another operator’s network, regardless of differing technology standards. Syniverse offers

services that bridge the technical issues and simplifies the business relationships among roaming

partners to enable voice and data roaming.

PRESTIGE TELEPHONE 12/03 – 12/04 company dissolved in 12/04

Responsible for the buying and selling of used telephone systems at the wholesale price. The

main product focus being that of Inter-Tel and Toshiba phone equipment. This position also

involved coordinating with other companies in order to ensure the successful completion of the

delivery and installation of sold systems while also researching any new business opportunities.

IBM 01/00 – 07/03 position outsourced to Canada

01/00 – 07/03 SOFTWARE TEST ANALYST

MVS Test Support for a Customer Billing application which existed of creating and executing the

MVS test environment in order to validate software changes. This involved the coordination of

software releases, resolving new PROC and JCL issues, and transmitting and verifying quality

data feeds to downstream clients via NDM. Also required was the inspection of

Requirement/Design documents, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) and verifying that

any changes to the CA7 job scheduling process were correct and valid.

AT&T 05/83 – 12/99 position outsourced to IBM

12/96 – 12/99 SOFTWARE TEST ANALYST

MVS Test Support for a Customer billing application which involved creating and executing the

MVS testing effort within a predominately UNIX environment.

Responsibilities:

Used Custom Statement Formatter (CSF) to create the output of printed billing invoices.

Participated in all inspections/walkthroughs for the Requirement/Design documents.

Using File-Aid, a ‘test bed’ of data was created to be used in the unit, string, system and

regression testing phases of

the full lifecycle development process.

Created the System Test plans and chaired the inspection/walkthrough meetings of these

documents.

Ensured upon completion of the System phase that quality data feeds were sent to

downstream clients via the use of

NDM.

Performed any WEB testing that was needed in order to verify the development changes

before production installation.

Incorporated the use of all tools listed above in the ‘Technical Background’ of this

document in order to ensure the

quality and timeliness of the software test effort.

01/96 - 11/96 APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Application Developer for the Customer billing system. This involved the design, code, unit and

system test support of several COBOL programs, while also developing the printed billing invoice

with the use of Custom Statement Formatter (CSF). This outside vendor product allowed the

developer to change the format of hardcopy billing output without the need of COBOL.

10/95 - 12/95 SOFTWARE TEST ANALYST

MVS System Test Support for two billing applications. Responsible for setting up the initial test

environment, resolving new PROC and JCL issues, DB2 Table setup and performance

monitoring, scheduling and processing of test cycles for application software verification.

01/93 -09/95 PRODUCTION SUPPORT DBA

Database Administrator for production and development of the Virtual Telecommunications

Network Service (VTNS) billing application. Responsible for DASD Management, DB2/IMS

Database Backup/Recovery, Online Monitoring and trouble resolution, twenty-four hour callout

for problem resolution.

10/88 - 12/92 PRODUCTION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Coordinate and assist in the resolution of production problems. Evaluate impact of problems on

batch cycles and adjust scheduling to meet on-line availability commitments. Interface with

application developers when necessary for problem resolution. Assisted with the initialization and

support of security (RACF) which involved the monitoring of current and new access to the

production billing system.

05/83 - 09/88 DATACENTER APPLICATION SUPPORT

Responsible for submitting and monitoring production batch jobs through CA7. Trouble shooting

job abends and system software problems. Also needed to interface and follow up with the

development group for restart/recovery procedures.
