POST RETIREMENT EMPLOYMENT

eBay Listing Agent I obtain products to sell from people and
keep them in my home until sold. As part of
the service to my customer, I inventory,
clean, photograph and develop sales
descriptions for each item. I determine
best method of sale, edit photographs,
upload to web space, develop HTML code for
listing the item, enter the information to
the eBay system and then record data about
the listing for later billing purposes.
Once an item sells, I determine shipping
method, bill the buyer, package and ship the
item and record completed transaction data
in the account files. Periodically I
evaluate costs and expenses related to all
sales for given period and bill the product
owners accordingly. Since starting this
business, I yearly do income tax reporting
as a home business keeping detailed records
and advising owners of their sales and
expenses for the year. I maintain my own
computer with system files related to the
listings, including the edited photographs.
