instillations, report and respond to any emergency situation that may threaten the safety and
security of United States property and personnel, and to enforce the United States Code of
Military Justice.

• I worked as a tutor for the Learning Enrichment Center at the University of Texas at Brownsville.
I tutored university students in various academic disciplines including History, Sociology, and
Psychology.
• In my last semester of my senior year at the university, I worked as a university tutor for the
College Assistant Migrant Program (CAMP). I was employed as an English tutor to critique,
review, and outline essays for migrant student workers.

• My primary responsibility was to teach the English language to Japanese junior high
school students. Through the use of phonics, I was able to teach students how to
formulate sentences and express themselves in a clear manner. Other responsibilities
included reviewing paperwork, assigning homework, creating lesson plans and
organizing presentations.
