ACHIEVMENTS:
. Implemented Database system for the tracking of design work
requests. Streamlined process of engineering department submitting
work requests. At any point in time you could see status of all
requests and make adjustments to resources to complete requests to
meet timing deadlines.
. Worked on project to develop a collapsible door armrest to meet
customer and federal objectives. The design was submitted for
patent protection to US patent office. Patent was secured.
. Worked on project to develop a simulated seam on injected molded
vinyl skin. The join seam was molded into the skin and then
secondary operation was to sew actual stitching on the armrest to
make armrest skin appear to be cut and sewn. This provided another
cost model for customer to choose from, giving the appearance of
expensive cut & sewn operation but the cost of a molded vinyl
skin. This worked well to secure more business with customers
going forward.
