When joining this organization I took a step back and started as a tractor operator. Within six month was
promoted to Site Supervisor, responsible for one $250,000 contract. Within the next year, was promoted to
Area Supervisor and became responsible for approximately 10 contracts worth a net of just over $4 million
dollars. After several years this position was promoted to Landscape/Horticultural Manager. Ever since
being a Site Supervisor my responsibilities have been the same, just on a proportionate scale. Those
responsibilities were to coordinate operations of government and commercial contracts, contract
management/administration to include, but not limited to, negotiations, budgeting, forecasting, determining
equipment and supply needs and preparing and acquiring bids. Also, quality control, customer and vender
relations, employee evaluations, recommendations on personnel actions, scheduling, payroll, preparing
snow removal plans, training persons with and without disabilities in job related skills and safety procedures,
and other duties as assigned.

Responsible for all aspects pertaining to managing seven landscape maintenance crews, including
but not limited to scheduling, supervision, quality control, personnel actions, payroll and safety. Also
was responsible for the snow removal plan and soliciting bids for new equipment.
