ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Denoising by using Wavelet Analysis (based on Matlab programming)
• Fundamental application of signal processing (FFT, convolution, spectra, etc.) in the time
and frequency domains by using Matlab programming
• Recognition and diagnostics of characteristics of simulated signals by using continuous
wavelet (Mexican hat and Morlet wavelet) transform processing. Analysis of reconstructed
signal by inverse transform and wavelet spectra
• Extraction of non periodic useful signals from noisy background by using Donoho’s soft
thresholding denoising method
CFD Simulation of Fluidic Thrust Vectoring
• Designed the configuration of Fluidic Thrust Vectoring by Gambit
• Used Fluent to simulate and measure the angular change of primary jet by controlling
suction and blowing of secondary jet
Analysis of dynamic characteristics of TV seeker (based on Simulink) Senior Project
• Establish mathematical models of TV seeker, and simulate dynamic characteristics of the
seeker under three kinds of working modes (locking, search and track) by using Simulink
(Matlab)
• Compare the different dynamic characteristics of missile under various kinetic states
(pitching, yawing and rolling)
INTERNSHIP
Xi’an Orient Group Co., Ltd and 203 Research Institute of China Ordnance Industries
Xi’an, China (Summer 2007)
